Frequently asked questions
Is white label different from standard reselling?
Yes. In standard reselling, you sell a product identified as OwnStarMap. In white label, the product bears your own brand. No mention of OwnStarMap appears — it's your brand the customer sees and remembers. This lets you build long-term brand equity.
Is there a minimum volume for white label?
No, there is no minimum volume. The Expert plan is available from the very first order. However, to amortize the €59/month subscription, we recommend a volume of at least 15–20 orders per month.
Can I use white label on Etsy?
Yes, white label works perfectly on Etsy. You sell under your shop name, with your branded visuals, and the final product carries no OwnStarMap branding. Etsy simply requires you to declare your production partner in the shop settings.
How do I protect my brand in white label?
Register your brand name with your national trademark office or the EUIPO (for Europe). The cost is around €190 for one product class. This protects your name and visual identity against copies. OwnStarMap will never claim rights over your brand.
