Torre de Bujaco

The Torre de Bujaco, built in the 12th century by the Almohads on Roman foundations, is the symbol of Cáceres. Standing 25 metres tall, it watched over the entrance to the city from the Plaza Mayor. Now open to visitors, its summit offers one of the finest panoramas over the UNESCO-listed Casco Histórico.
