Digital Star Map — High-Resolution PDF
Your star map is provided as a high-resolution PDF in the selected format, in your customer area once payment is confirmed.
Why choose the digital format
Available after payment
Find your high-resolution PDF in your customer area once payment is confirmed. The digital product does not include physical shipping.
Documented astronomy method
The renderer loads 8,921 records from a local HYG-derived export, excludes the Sun, and keeps stars above the geometric horizon for the chosen date, time, and place. Constellation lines are conventional; this illustration is not an observing tool.

Can I order a digital star map from my country?
OwnStarMap’s digital star map is designed for international ordering. Once payment is confirmed, a high-resolution PDF in the selected format is placed in your customer account: no parcel leaves France, no shipping address is required, and no postal delay applies. Stripe can localize currency and payment methods in more than 150 countries, including India, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa. The site currently offers French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, and Arabic; English is the international fallback when your language is not yet available. You can keep the file, send it as an online gift, or print it with a provider near you instead of paying for international poster delivery. Currency, the final amount, and the payment methods actually available are always confirmed in checkout before you place the order, because a bank or local rule can still affect a particular payment.

FAQ — Digital Star Map
What file will I receive?
You receive a high-resolution PDF in the selected format. It is available in your customer area once payment is confirmed ($14.00).
How do I print my star map?
Use a print provider compatible with the selected PDF format. Check dimensions, margins, and other specifications with the provider before printing; output depends on its equipment and settings.
What does the astronomy method model?
The renderer transforms fixed coordinates from a local HYG-derived export using sidereal time and the local horizon, then excludes the Sun and stars below the geometric horizon. It does not model precession, proper motion, refraction, terrain, the Moon, or planets.
